I ponder, just ponder; Deep in my thoughts; I just can’t stop just thinking and thinking . How good deeds and bad deeds can be equal on scale? What do I weigh on my ‘meezan?’
What will be the matter of people of Al-A’raf? Where will I stand?
When reward of one deed is equal to ten or even up to seven hundred times…
When there are rewards for just intending to good deed & unable to do it, whilst one evil deed is accounted as only one deed….
Allah (عَزَّوَجَلَّ) says in the Qur’an:
﴾فَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًا يَرَهُ ﴿٧﴾ وَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ شَرًّا يَرَهُ ﴿٨
“So whoever does an atom’s weight of good will see it, And whoever does an atom’s weight of evil will see it.”
[Surah Az-Zalzalah: 3-4]
Moreover I am amazingly amazed by mercy of my Rabb that a bad deed is not written if not performed rather rewarded of a good deed by refraining from it!
سبحان الله ، الله اكبر كبيرا
So again how come both can be same or equal on scale ?
Was it bare minimum performance in duniya? Or even less than bare minimum?
Just one ليلة القدر is Better than 1000 months…
Daily Salah, fasting, adhkaars, istigfaar, charity, even a smile, so many opportunities to gain hasanaats beyond imagination… so couldn’t they benefit?
إِنَّ اللَّـهَ لَا يَظْلِمُ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ ۖ وَإِن تَكُ حَسَنَةً يُضَاعِفْهَا وَيُؤْتِ مِن لَّدُنْهُ أَجْرًا عَظِيمًا ﴿٤٠﴾۔
“Indeed, Allah does not do injustice, [even] as much as an atom’s weight; while if there is a good deed, He multiplies it and gives from Himself a great reward.”
[Surah An-Nisa: 40]
Or was it a state of being completely immersed in evil in dunya?
Indeed Allah (عَزَّوَجَلَّ)’s Mercy is immense.
The very thought of this equation just gives me goosebumps…
Do I lose the opportunities of goodness in my way too?
