Caring for your neighbors: Abu Dharr (رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْهُ) reported: The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ commanded me, “O Abu Dharr! Whenever you prepare a broth, put plenty of water in it, and give some of it to your neighbors”
(Sahih Muslim)
Based on the learning of the hadith above, today we are going to teach you how to make a share box to give away home made goodies or candies with your neighbors, family or friends.

- Paper plate
- Ribbon
- A pair of scissors
- A hole puncher
- Markers to decorate
- And most importantly candies or cookies (something to fill in the share box)
1. Step One
Fold the paper plate into half and punch holes along the sides with the hole puncher (get help from an adult)
2. Step Two
Cut two strands of ribbon of equal sizes. And starting at the bottom string through like a shoe lace to the top.
3. Step Three
Repeat on the other side and tie together on top
4. Step Four
Decorate as you like and fill with goodies
5. And most importantly candies or cookies (something to fill in the share box)
Now go out, give it away. Make Allah (عَزَّوَجَلَّ) be pleased with you and may He accept this from you. Aameen.
