First Address:

All praise and thanks are for Allah (عَزَّوَجَلَّ). I bear witness that there is no Lord but Allah. He is One and Only; He has no equal and I bear witness that Muhammad ﷺ is His servant. Allah (عَزَّوَجَلَّ) is the Most Merciful and may He continue to send mercy on the Prophet ﷺ and his family and all his companions. (Aameen)

After this:

Oh Muslims! Undoubtedly, the purpose of all forms of worship is to praise Allah (عَزَّوَجَلَّ), the Creator. To humble ourselves in front of Him and to submit is the goal to achieve the highest level of love for Him so that we can recognize the virtue of Tawheed. It is said in the Qur’an:

قُلْ إِنَّ صَلَاتِي وَنُسُكِي وَمَحْيَايَ وَمَمَاتِي لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ ‎﴿١٦٢﴾‏ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ ۖ وَبِذَٰلِكَ أُمِرْتُ وَأَنَا أَوَّلُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ

No partner has He. And this I have been commanded, and I am the first [among you] of the Muslims.”
[Al-An’Aaam: 163]

Undoubtedly, one’s relationship with the Creator ought to be a permanent one that ends and only breaks with the last breaths taken. This is when the servant leaves this temporary world.

And worship your Lord until there comes to you the certainty (death).
[Al-Hijr: 99]

In this temporary world, it is incumbent upon the servant of Allah (عَزَّوَجَلَّ) that he worships the Creator with firmness and steadfastness. He must protect himself from all traps of Shaytan that lead to decline and destruction. Follow what is said in the Qur’an:

فَاسْتَقِمْ كَمَا أُمِرْتَ وَمَن تَابَ مَعَكَ وَلَا تَطْغَوْا ۚ إِنَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ

So remain on a right course as you have been commanded, [you] and those who have turned back with you [to Allah], and do not transgress. Indeed, He is Seeing of what you do.
Hud: 112]

Make the Prophet ﷺ’s advice as a guiding light for your lives. On the authority of Sufyan bin Abdullah (رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْهُ) who said:

“I said, ‘O Messenger of Allah, tell me something about Islam which I can ask of no one but you.’ He (peace be upon him) said, ‘Say

“I believe in Allah” — and then be steadfast.'”
[Muslim]

O Muslims! Become obedient to your Creator and adopt taqwa. The ones who want eternal bliss, honor and success should adopt the fear of Allah (عَزَّوَجَلَّ)- adopt taqwa. Once this is done, then steadfastness upon it is the key to success. It should be held on to tightly.

Indeed, those who have said, “Our Lord is Allah ” and then remained on a right course – the angels will descend upon them, [saying], “Do not fear and do not grieve but receive good tidings of Paradise, which you were promised.
[Fussilat: 30]

Oh Servants of Allah! Fight your nafs (desires), stay firm on the Straight Path and keep beseeching His help for this endeavor. Purify your intentions for His work and adopt a firm resolve. Always remember that this world will cease to exist and the Afterlife is not only permanent but it is also filled with blessings. Continue to do good deeds and abstain from all that brings about Allah (عَزَّوَجَلَّ)’s wrath. Train your nafs as it is mentioned in the Qur’an:

وَالَّذِينَ جَاهَدُوا فِينَا لَنَهْدِيَنَّهُمْ سُبُلَنَا ۚ وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَمَعَ الْمُحْسِنِينَ

And those who strive for Us – We will surely guide them to Our ways. And indeed, Allah is with the doers of good.
[Al-Ankabut:69]

Work with your heart and your limbs while remembering the advice of the Prophet ﷺ:

Narrated Abu Huraira (رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْهُ):

Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said, “All my followers will enter Paradise except those who refuse.” They said, “O Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ)! Who will refuse?” He said, “Whoever obeys me will enter Paradise, and whoever disobeys me is the one who refuses (to enter it).”
(Sahih al-Bukhari 7280)

Allah (عَزَّوَجَلَّ) says in the Qur’an:

قَدْ أَفْلَحَ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ

Certainly will the believers have succeeded
[Al-Mu’minun: 1]

Oh Allah, make the Qur’an and Sunnah beneficial for us, grant us guidance and taqwa. Aameen.

Second Address:

All praises are for Allah (عَزَّوَجَلَّ), the One Who is Pure, Blessed and Praiseworty. I bear witness there is no God worthy of worship except Allah (عَزَّوَجَلَّ). He is One and He has no partners. I bear witness that Muhammad ﷺ is His servant and messenger. OAllah! Send mercy on him ﷺ and his family and all his companions.

After this:

O Servants of Allah! The one who intends to find the gem and wishes to find purpose, the one who wants to save himself from all harm, then it is essential for him to hold on to these words.

O Believers! Be patient and be prepared for jihad and continue to fear Allah (عَزَّوَجَلَّ). This is the way to success. Be consistent in obedience and steadfastness along with the race towards righteous deeds. Help the others in need.

Oh Servants of Allah, be steadfast in His worship. Abstain from the forbidden and trust His decisions and submit to your taqdeer (what He has ordained for you) with belief. Allah (عَزَّوَجَلَّ) says in the Qur’an:

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا ارْكَعُوا وَاسْجُدُوا وَاعْبُدُوا رَبَّكُمْ وَافْعَلُوا الْخَيْرَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ

O you who have believed, bow and prostrate and worship your Lord and do good – that you may succeed.
[Al-Hajj:77]

Allah (عَزَّوَجَلَّ) has commanded you to send durud upon the Messenger ﷺ and said:

إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَمَلَائِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ۚ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا صَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُوا تَسْلِيمًا

Indeed, Allah confers blessing upon the Prophet, and His angels [ ask Him to do so ]. O you who have believed, ask [Allah to confer] blessing upon him and ask [ Allah to grant him ] peace.
[Al-Ahzab: 56]

We send countless blessings on the beloved Prophet ﷺ and upon his family that cannot be enumerated due to which we pray that the Creator raises our ranks and forgives us.

O Allah! Be pleased with the four Caliphates and the guided leaders, Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, Ali and the companions.

O Allah! Forgive the believing men and the believing women, those who are living and those have died.

O Allah! Guide our leader to work of goodness and grant them health and aafiyah.

O Allah! Grant our leaders a long life and grant them Your obedience.

O Allah! Grant the children of our leaders the ability to engage in work of khayr.

O Allah! Grant all Muslim leaders to carry out work of goodness and make them a blessings for their people.

O Allah! Make us from amongst those who are obedient and steadfast.

O Allah! Make us from amongst those who believe in Your Oneness and who are guided. Send blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ and his family. (Aameen- O Lord of the Worlds)
